If Lboy were to choose what we would eat every day, it would be:
For breakfast, it would be, a spoonful of Nutella (or Ba-rella as he says it).
For lunch it would be, Grandma Byrd Cookies (my great-grandmother’s no bake peanut butter cookies.)
And for supper (as we call it in the south, not dinner), it would be, “Chicken nuggets, french fries, sprite, and KETCHUP!!!” This is exactly how he says it. Every.single.time.
We’ve been on the road a lot lately. Chick-Fil-A & Wendy’s have become our pals when trying to get lunch as we drive to wherever we are going. We’ve been out of town or had a major event going on the last 21 of 23 weekends. TWENTY-ONE WEEKENDS Y’ALL! I’m dying. And it isn’t slowing down any time soon (hello Thanksgiving, Christmas, & New Year’s!)
Todd & I hadn’t realized that it had gotten to be a problem until our “I love to eat anything” eater turned into a “I’m willing to do battle with you over food” eater.
When we are home, our food is organic (most of the time), home cooked (every.single.time), & covers all the food groups.
Tomorrow, we are hitting the road again. We’ll be packing lunches. Very Healthy ones. We are getting him back on track. And me too. If we are going to live on the road, then we have to start adjusting to eating on the road & it can’t be take out.
Oh, and the baby? Yeah, she eats better than all of us.

4.) Tell us about a time you got intoxicated. What happened?
5.) Describe a favorite Halloween costume you once wore.

I just started doing this too! My daughter is only 18 months old, but we were getting into the bad habit of easy but not healthy snacks on the run. She is surely disappointed about the broccoli, strawberries, and carrots on the go, but now we keep the salty and GMOs to a minimum. I mean… when I can. HA. Work in progress.
Also, babies always eat better than EVERYONE. In our house too.

I’ve been out of town since Thursday! Sorry I’m just now getting back to you–
Things were much healthier on this road trip than the last ones have been. Thank goodness! And he didn’t seem to mind the change.
Now, I just have to keep it up!

The baby always eats the best! You can just throw all the healthiest things and press a button. And you can really trick those babies into eating it. Then they grow up and want nutella and nuggets. Sigh.
