Since I posted over at Liz’s at a Belle, a Bean & a Chicago Dog yesterday, I thought that I would post my FIRST VLOG from Mama Kat’s prompts!
1. In the 7th grade this idiot kid told me that I had a boring voice. He was an idiot, but I’m just warning you. I might have a boring voice!
2. Just for Jessica at My Time as Mom & Carri at Adventures in Mommyhood, I made sure I used “y’all”–which really wasn’t that hard, because I use it ALL THE TIME!
3. If you think I have a southern accent, then you ain’t heard nothin’ yet y’all. Because I have family with MUCH thicker accents than mine! Though my family in Cali loves, loves, loves to have me say certain words that they think are hysterical (like I call a shopping cart a “Buggy” & Dinner is not dinner, it’s Supper. Who eats dinner?!)

Ok love that you are watching the wedding. I have a meeting that I need to be functional for tomorrow so no live viewing. But my sister is DVR’ing it!
And your accent is soooo subtle-southern. Just like my hubby’s is sooo sublte-Canadian (Except when you mention it and then he starts saying ‘eh.’)

Oh duh! And about your vlog itself. I know what you mean about blog names. I am concerned (the other way) that when I do become a “mommy blogger” my blog name will be strange. So I did some early research and found another url site but don’t know if it makes sense to switch. Such hard decisions lol!

I’ve been a little unsure about my blog name also, but I’ve decided to stick with it because I do talk a lot about my grand-babies. Most people are surprised that I’m not an old gray hair granny!
And as for supper, y’all, and buggies….I wouldn’t know any other way to say it myself. We all say the same thing!

I love your accent. I have a lot of family from the south and live in Maryland, so southern accents are so normal to me.
I said I wouldn’t watch the Royal Wedding, but I caught the tail end of it. I thought I would hate it, but now I’m feeling all misty eyed about the fantasy of it all.

Accent? What accent? Oh yeah, it’s not an accent to those of us who talk/live with/around it, in that case it’s just normal and others have accents. =D
