A little bit about myself. I am a SAHM to a wonderful little boy who we are just about to enter the stage known as the trying 3’s with. I hear it is worse than the terrible 2’s. I really hope not. I am engaged to the most wonderful man in the world named Tobei. You can actually find him blogging over at my site as well whenever the mood strikes him. So there you have the basics. Guess I will go ahead and answer Kate’s questions for you all because I know you must be dying to hear my answers 😉
- Why do you blog? I started blogging to do Project 365 which is where you take one picture a day for an entire year. About a month into it I realized I suck at taking pictures of new and interesting things. So I decided I would try my hand at blogging. Being a stay at home mom it can get pretty darn lonely. Ask my mom, I call her about 6 times a day. You also can’t have an adult conversation with a 2 year old. So I turned to blogging to just talk about whatever it is I wanted to talk about. Interact with other women who “get” it.
- What’s your favorite blog to read? Oh Kate.. I love you girl. I know this is where you want me to say your site. But you already know I like it here and have made myself at home and your readers know about you as well. We got to introduce them to new people. So can I cheat? I am going to cheat. My 2 must read blogs every day are Mama Still Wears Gucci and The World Through My Eyes. I can promise you it doesn’t matter what I got to do, if I see they have a new post up I am running over to read it.
- What’s your best blogging tip? Really? Seriously? One tip? Fine, I already cheated once. My number 1 blog tip is Be Yourself. If you aren’t real your readers will sense it. If you are blogging the way others want you to then you will end up not having your whole heart in it and lose the love for blogging.
So this is the point where I get to post about whatever I want. However this is pretty long already. I didn’t really give short and sweet answers. Instead I will take this opportunity to thank Kate for featuring me this week and for being a great bloggy friend. I am glad that we found one another and have gotten to know each other. Keep up the fantastic work on the blog, just stop trying to one up me. I won’t let you win. *running away while leaving the sound of my evil laughter ringing in your ears*

The "be yourself" part is so true! Sometimes I wish I were as funny/eloquent as other bloggers, but then I realized my blog does just as well by me being… me 🙂

When I get asked what's your number 1 tip, I always say the same thing – be yourself. You can totally tell when someone isn't being honest…or trying to rose-tint the truth.
