I do! I do!
When I was contacted to do a review on Snikiddy Snacks I was hesitant at first. For one thing, I don’t really like food reviews on blogs. I always skip right over them. For another, I honestly don’t want to become a blog that used to have some awesome content & then turned into a mostly review blog.
But the kicker that got me agreeing to do it: was a free sample…haha no just kidding! It was the fact that they were gluten free snacks. My little sister & just recently found out that she has a gluten allergy and finding out that you can’t eat anything with gluten in it is a real SHOCK to your world! It turns everything upside down. She can now no longer eat things as simple as ranch dressing, peanut butter & jelly sandwiches, or birthday cake! I’d die without cake! Everything, I mean everything has gluten hidden inside of it somewhere, so this was really frustrating & overwhelming her!
So, I thought I’d get a sample (sent to me from Snikiddy Snacks) and try it out. In my experience any gluten free food I’ve ever eaten might as well have been cardboard. It’s always dry, nasty, & flavorless. And to be honest this is exactly what I was expecting from this snack. I had nightmares for weeks about what it was going to do to my reputation to have to email these people & tell them that their product tasted like complete garbage.
…BUT…
The Cheddar Cheese Baked Fries that I tried were actually quite good! And the best part about them is Lboy loved them & I’m always looking for snacks for him. And this is a healthy snack! And my fancy little yorkie, Giorgio, he even ate them (aka he stole them from Lboy while he was eating them) and this dog has some fancy tastebuds–no lies.

Oh your poor mom and sister, my cousins just found the same thing out. I know for her the road to finding out she had this allergy was NOT fun!

I will have to try those! Tell your mom and sister to check out Betty Crockers gf mixes. I love their whit cake mix and their Devil's Chocolate cake mix. They are sold everywhere Betty Crocker products are sold and are usually with the Betty Crocker mixes.
