A View of What I Grow

05/31/2011 by Kate P. 19 Comments

*This was supposed to go up last night at 9:30. No clue why it didn’t post as scheduled! Then I had to track down the video again & get it back in here. I was doing all the work with a migraine last night, so it was more than likely an operator’s error on my part!*

Today I’m showing what all I grow! I wanted to do the engagement vlog, but I think I’m going to save that story for another day next week. You’ll see why. πŸ™‚

And guess what?! I got out bed for this one! πŸ˜‰

This week’s prompts are:

1.) Share the story of your engagement.

2.) A vacation to rememberÒ€¦where did you go and what did you do?

3.) What are you growing? A tour of your garden, flower beds, etc.

For more information on VlogTalk or to have the prompts emailed directly to you each week go here.

The weekly #VlogTalk Twitter chat is Tuesday May 31st from 8 Γ’β‚¬β€œ 9pm CST. Hope to chat with you there.

Happy Vlogging!

Thank you for stopping by! I hope you like what you see & will subscribe to my blog via Email and/or visit my Facebook page so you can see all the posts! Or look for me on Twitter so we can chat!

Thank you so much for coming back to visit! If you've never left a comment, leave me one! I'd love to chat! Be sure to subscribe to the via Email and check out the Facebook page or find me on Twitter so we can keep chatting!

I love LBoy just running around the yard with you. Those flowers by the mailbox are so cute…I can never remember their name but they always remind me of colored Christmas trees.

You look like you know what you are doing! I have a tough time because our entire yard is full sun so I try to find a variety of flowers that can handle it. I love the “colored christmas trees” like Elena calls them πŸ™‚

You have some beautiful flowers growing. Lboy was adorable for his first appearance in a vlog.

My tip for a garden is to have someone else to take care of it. πŸ˜‰

I am glad that I am not the only one who has a watering problem LOL. Love the fact that Lboy was very entertained in ringing the door bell…that would torture my dog too! πŸ™‚

Oh that was great!! I especially loved when you called your plant “she”! That’s awesome. My grandma used to talk to all of her plants…she said it helped them grow.

I stink at gardening. Right now we live in a townhome & our association takes care of all the outdoor stuff. I use that as an excuse as to why I don’t have any flowers out. If and when we ever move I am going to me SOL…

SO pretty! Funny how you thank your “mommy” because I still call my mom “mommy” too. πŸ™‚ What are the flowers by the mailbox called? They remind me of the unicorn flowers on a Dora episode ;p

Gorgeous! What’s the name of those flowers at the end that like full sun? It’s funny you’re talking about too much rain. We’ve had the biggest drought since 1900 here. I no longer want to do anything in my garden. We have sandy soil so melons and squash don’t thrive here. If you put tomatoes in the urn, I might try cherry tomatoes. More fun for the kids and doesn’t grow as tall and heavy as the larger variety.

I’m jealous of all your nice looking plants..even the ones the rain knocked over! I have a black thumb for sure. I even killed one of those viney plants people keep in their cubicles and never have to water.

I like the flowers by your mailbox, too. I can’t remember the name, though.

I tend to neglect my plants and that seem to work well. Unless said plant is a fern.

Ok. Can you come teach me how to grow my plants? I am horrible with a green thumb (&mostly because I don’t remember to water them…oops!) Maybe if I did that things would actually grow! I love how we both referenced “growing children” lol!
