Before Blogging. After Blogging.

Before Blogging

After Blogging

As my 17 year old brother so eloquently put it, “Kate’s crashing into 30 loud and clear.” Ah, thank you very much for that little bro! He is also still at the age where he believes life after 30 is pointless because you are so, and I quote, “OLD!”

For the last few months I’ve been ZOOMING my screen in just so I could see…. these glasses have made all the difference! And they’re just readers, I told the eye doctor she had to hook me up because I have this addiction & it’s called blogging. She probably was hoping there was a hotline for blogging junkies, but alas there wasn’t so she had to help me get my fix!

What has blogging done to your eyes?

Nothing, yet! I do have to wear glasses when I drive at night, though. And by “have to”, I mean “I really don’t wear them because I look stupid”.

ummm… good question… I haven’t been to the eye doctor in, oh… maybe 4 years?? I’ve been meaning to go, but we don’t have vision insurance, and my eyes don’t bother me all that much… although the last time I went my 20/20 vision was more of an A- grade than the A+ it had previously been (thank you Dad!!) I had glasses for reading/computer work… which I only wore if I had a headache or when driving at night in the rain sometimes… both pair of which Goose had put her mark on… definitely in need of new ones if I’m planning to wear them at all! 🙂 I should probably make that appointment… right after I call the dentist… 😉

I got glasses two years ago from my self inflicted reading in the dark and staring at a computer screen way too often illness. They do help.

    And please 3o is YOUNG!!!

I’m so blind I didn’t even notice the second picture was different because you were wearing glasses until I read the whole post. Does that say anything? Man, I think I need to get to the eye doctor myself!

So far I don’t need glasses for reading or the computer screen…Although if I continue to tweet from my phone ALL.DAY.LONG I may have to! I need (read: I have them but never wear them) to wear glasses for distance, so it’s only a matter of time. ::Sigh::

PS – When will you be 30? I’m hitting that magic number next month :/

    Love the glasses!

I’ve had glasses and contacts for years but since I started blogging my prescription has gotten stronger and I’ve only been in the game a couple months.

Remind me to smack your brother with my cane next time I see him 😉 BTW, hate your cousin Josh. All those years of computing, his vision’s still 20/20.

I’ve had glasses for ages, so I can’t blame blogging. I also sit all day on my arse for work so I guess I can’t blame my secretary slide on the blog, either. Hmmm. Blame. I could blame blogging for increasing my friend list 🙂 That’s a good consequence, right??

    cute specs by the way!

You look like a sexy librarian.

I’ve been wearing glasses for distance since 4th grade. Now I can’t see 2 feet in front of me without them or my contacts. But? I noticed one day that I was having to hold something back away from me to read it. I’m not ready for reading glasses!!!!

I’ve never considered that this blogging could be making me blind!? Could account for some late night headaches I spose. Is there nothing fun that doesn’ cause bodily harm?

You looke like a blogging genius in those smashing spectacles, my lady!
