What to write for the day…Seriously!
I’m tired. I’m writing this & it feels like it’s 2 am when it’s only 10 pm on Tuesday (I usually schedule all my posts for 6:00 am the following morning.) I’m also “peopled out”–meaning I was around so many people this weekend, all who I loved & was happy to see, I’m exhausted. I tend to hole up for days at a time to recuperate from it (it’s my one introverted quality.) I think that’s why I’m drawing such a blank…..
Also, Todd lost his cell phone today–we literally spent HOURS looking for it. He eventually found it, in his lunch box, in the freezer at his office…if that doesn’t shout “Hey! You’re a little too busy! Slow down!” then I don’t know what does. You wouldn’t think that searching for a cell phone would be exhausting, but it was! And you don’t realize how much you need that phone until you don’t have it anymore….and the phone is acting all funny, you know, like it had been frozen…
On top of all that, today was Lboy’s 12 month appointment. Yup, you called it, it was a SHOT day! Poor buddy! And they had to do blood work as a follow up to an appointment last month–that was not fun! Again, poor Buddy!
So…I’m dead tired. I’m going to bed. And I’m going to pretend that this is an awesome post!
Besos!
I can totally relate. When I had busy days where I'm around too many people I too need my 'quiet time' to recuperate.
Awww poor Lboy! Hope he's not too miserable after the shots. Hate those moments, I think it hurts us mamas more than our babies.
Btw, thanks for adding my button. You are the first one so I'm honored!
Hope you'll feel better soon.
Those shot days are so rough! I agree that you may need a break when the phone ends up in the freezer.
Hope Lboy feels better today after his shots yesterday 🙂 Hope you do as well!
Poor baby…shot days are no fun. I hate how Davis stares at me with the 'please help me and get this people off me' look. It's so sad!!
Shot days soooo suck! Ruins the entire day for everybody 🙁
Maureen: Thanks! I felt beter this morning when I woke up & have lots of ideas for future blog posts. I just needed a night off!!!
Joey: shots do suck! The phone in the freezer–crazy right?!
Kim: He feels great today! So that's awesome!
Jessica: I HATE that look! The "Why are you doing this to me?" look. It's so sad!
Natalie: shot days blow! Glad it's over!
I hear ya. I love people and I'm not shy, but I certainly need my alone time. I tend to hide, like you.
Did it survive the freezer?
I am definitely hiding & have been since Monday! lol
And no I don't think it survived-it turns on but won't take calls or make them either. And no texting…I'm just glad I wasn't the one who put in the freezer otherwise I'd feel doubly terrible!
BUTTTTOOONNNN!!! i just noticed your button – i have to add it now! and it's so pretty!!!
sorry you're exhausted and sorry about lboy but hey, you have a pretty button!! 🙂
Ericka: ha thanks! I actually hate it! lol I had no idea what to do so I just used this pic cause it's my profile picture…I'm ready for a new design where I will have a cool button! lol
I'm better today! Thanks!
I'm following you now too!!! I love more friends!!!! <3!!!
Great review John! In my 18 yrs in neotrwk marketing I found MLSP to be the best system for training people how to market, how to generate their own uique leads and how to close them. And that is the core of what we do in this business.I love it!Terry Petrovick recently posted..
I can't believe his cell phone was in the FREEZER! OMG! That's the first time I've ever heard of anyone freeing their phone. I hope it's ok! 🙂
Thanks Mrs.! I love more friends too! Can't wait to keep reading over at your place!
Lori: Yeah, I'm going to buy him a go phone tomorrow! lol It's funny today, it wasn't so much yesterday! Thanks for following me back!
Thanks for popping in I am following you back =) looking forward to it
I have to have my private time ~ very important, especially after being with people a lot. So glad you stopped by and thanks for following! Since you paid me, I'm gonna follow you too ~ 😉 Seriously, I love your blog!
Have a great rest of the week ~
Pat
Thanks Pat! Your check is in the mail! lol And I'm still in the "I need my private time" mode–it takes longer for me to snap out of it now that I'm a mom!
I hated those shot days! My eldest at 18 months became ill afterward. She was not feeling better for at least a month so I took her to the doctor and after checking everything I was told she had developed Juvenile Diabetes. I was a shock! Anywhere, thanks for sharing. I'm a new follower.
