Well, I am Beka (B*) from Confessions of a NEW MOM. I married my best friend & SUPERMAN, Zach (Z*) in August 2009. We had our little bundle of perfection Tristan (T*) in September 2009. He is our JOY. He is just FULL OF LIFE. When he was born my passion for photography was born right after him. My superman, Z* bought me a Canon 20D and it never left my hands when T* was in the room. I love taking pictures and I love CAPTURING raw moments. I love ACTIVE pictures. I am not one for POSING. 😉 I am quite obsessed with LOVE. 🙂 I am a girly girl and love anything pretty. 1) I LOVE being creative, but can’t draw, color, sketch, paint… worth a poo. (whatever poo is worth)
Sooo.. I am creative with photography, MUSIC, & editing. OH! Don’t forget BLOGGIN! 😉
2) I LOVE God, but my prayer life is SLACKING!!!!
It is not pretty right now. I am a child of God. Born & raised a PK (pastor’s kid) in a small country non-denominational church. I knew at a young age I was called to lead worship. So that is what I do on Sunday mornings with my Marmee (momma!) & on Wednesday nights for my husband, who is the YOUTH PASTOR…. God has called my husband and I to build on my father’s legacy in Iowa. We have country-like spirits, but dress with CITY-like style. 😉
3) I am learning how to be a better wife.
I am NORMALLY pretty good at things I put my mind to do (EXCEPT drawing..LOL) BUT it has come to my attention that I am not being the best wifey I can be. I NEED and want to get better at this. B/c SUPERMAN (Z*) needs a SUPERWIFEY. I am ashamed at how I have been treating him lately. If you come to my BLOG you will be able to read more about what I am learning and What Z* and I are up to…

1) WHY DO YOU BLOG?
I blog because it is my way to express myself with my GOD, FAMILY, Friends, Photography, MUSIC, etc…. & I get SO MUCH inspiration from my other blogger friends!
2) What’s your FAVORITE blog to read?
I have a couple lists on my blog that says, “1 step away from stalking.” yep. PRETTY much SUMS. IT. UP.
Other list: “Uncommon Women”… THAT is my list of women that I get my INSPIRATION from! 🙂
3) What’s your best blogging tip?
SPREAD THE LOVE. Talk about other wonderful bloggers, inspirations, etsy shops, pictures, NEW BLOGGERS, & COMMENT COMMENT COMMENT on others. THINK OF OTHERS just getting started out! (Just like what mommymonologues is doing!)
